Brett on Immigration:
We must secure our nation and secure our borders now! As your Representative, I will support all national initiatives to secure our borders. We need action, not just talk. We must first stop the bleeding of our resources and economy and stop illegal immigration.

On a state level, we must take a stand against illegal immigration in Georgia. Yes, the people in our country and our state are compassionate. We must be compassionate to those who reside in our state LEGALLY. Georgia already has some of the strictest and effective immigration laws in America. We MUST enforce these laws.

Along with many other ideas to stop illegal immigration to Georgia, I base these ideas on a four point plan:

1. Enforce visa rules. We should report to authorities the names of anyone who overstays their visa. The violator and his/her family should be deported. 2. No amnesty for illegal immigrants. We should not reward those who break our laws. 3. No employment for illegal immigrants. Employers must be responsible and obey the law by NOT hiring illegal immigrants. If an employer breaks the law, he should be punished with a substantial fine and/or imprisonment. 4. No welfare for illegal immigrants. Taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services. If someone has an emergency medical situation (in an ER) who can not prove citizenship or can not show application in process, they should be treated fairly and with the best medical attention; but the he/she should be arrested after fair treatment is rendered. We must NOT continue to allow illegal immigrants to drain our health care system, our schools, and social services in Georgia.

I'm asking you to make the smart choice and elect me to represent our District. With your vote and support, I will help protect this great State of Georgia and District 117 by making the right decisions for you and your families.
