A Special Message From Brett McGuire

 I would like to thank each and every one of the thousands of Columbia County citizens who voted for me on Tuesday, July 20th. I have been humbled and honored by your support on election day and especially during the campaign. Although we did not win the election, over 80% of the voters obviously agreed with my platform by their votes on the ballot questions. Together, we have made a difference. That is something I am proud of, and you should be, too. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Ben Jackson, my campaign manager and wonderful friend; as well as a special thank you to one of the largest, hardest working, and finest group of volunteers ever assembled in the area. I could not have succeeded as well with my message without your strong support and especially your friendship. I congratulate Chairman Ron Cross, and in the best interest of our families in Columbia County, I sincerely hope he and the Commissioners will listen to the large number of voters who came out in strong support for lower taxes, less debt, and smaller, honest government.
